Torpedo Sockets

Torpedo Sockets

Torpedo Sockets are used for socketing grapnel and streaming rope.

The slim shape enables the joints to run freely through the different winch systems.

Fits Gunnebo connecting link and swivel, which facilitates the joining of more lengths of rope and linking with various grapnels.

The torpedo sockets are made from high tensile steel which is then electro galvanized.

The socketing is done with “Wirelock”.
Wirelock is a two-component cold-hardening product that does not require other agents for embedding. Wirelock is approved by Danish National Labour Inspection, Lloyds, etc.
Wirelock is ready for use approx. 1 ½ hour after embedding and withstands impact and shock.
